"Sails of the Sky"

 I remember a trip home one night several years ago, I looked up into the clouds and saw battleships and cannon balls flying through the sky. The scene sparked such awe and wonder in me that I never forgot about it. I painted this picture wanting to recapture the idea, till today the memory still inspires me, and I hope this painting will inspire you as well.
